WriteFighters hosts an annual 3-Day Novella Contest in which writers from around the world have 3 days to write a whole book. (Lengths vary, but entries generally average 20,000-30,000 words.) Anyone able to do this is a ‘write-fighter’ – our term for a total badass capable of writing a 3-day book. Every entry is read by at least 2 different judges. Any manuscript on the shortlist is read by ALL judges. The top 3 write-fighters win a publishing contract, a cash prize (determined by the size of the pot), and a place in our hall of fame for the lifetime of the contest!
